Cho Seung-Hui

I bet everyone heard about or seen the scene on cnn or watever local news about the Korean guy who murdered 32 college kids in Virginia Tech. I don't know really to think of Cho as a murderer or pity him. But, a big portion of me.. feels pitiful for him tho. Even tho he killed 32 others. From what I seen, I felt that he has nobody to turn to, nobody to talk to and nobody even loved or cared for him. Most prolly they were all bullies around him, making him a laughing stock that made him feel so low about himself. Everyone has their limits. Even when one work.. one can turned psycho due to overstressed from work. Probably same went to him. He was down with mental illness, probably due to the stress he gets from his peers and those that look down at him, not being an American who's living in America. He did it because he hated them, the Americans. He was filled with anger and hatred. And yet, nobody he could face. Making him a quiet and reserved person, as what being told by him suitemate. Probably this could bring a lesson to those bastards out there who doesnt watch their mouth, who doesnt give a fuck about how people feel. Those that their brains are stucked in their ass. It's advisable to take 'em out of their asses and fix it back in their head. If they had been a better person, this wouldn't have happenned.

On the other hand, I would have to say that Cho was also wrong in randomly murdering all 32 students. He could probably like murdered the bastards instead of young innocent kids in the college. He did that out of anger and clasifying all of them into the same category which he was obviously wrong. Not all Americans are the same. And definitely killing 32 was a huge wrong-doing. But again, he was mentally unstable due to all these exterior factors.

I was so into the case today.. out of no where.. thus, go and look into youtube and all for videos and all. There's this one titled, "Rest In Peace Cho Seung-Hui" which I wanna share here. But wasn't allowed to be embedded. Thus, the link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T8WdKkv5ABs

I quoted this from The Star online which again, I wanted to share. Source : http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2007/4/22/worldupdates/2007-04-21t233821z_01_nootr_rtrjonc_0_india-295102-1&sec=worldupdates
"I just wanted you to know that I am not mad at you. I don't hate you,"
read a note among flowers at a stone marker labeled for Cho. "I am so sorry that
you could find no help or comfort."

Some hated him while some pitied him. As for me, I pitied him. He would have been a happier person if given the chance to. He was only 23.

"On the other hand, I would have to say that Cho was also wrong in randomly murdering all 32 students."

Does it mean that if Cho did not randomly kill and instead specifically target those who treated him wrong, then Cho did the right thing? In my humble opinion, that is being way too kind. Of course what he did is WRONG. No ifs and no buts. No matter what suffering he has been going through, it doesnt give him the right to murder, even those who is guilty of mocking him or whatever. No one has the right to take law into their own hands. If not, then there will be millions of killings happening as there are millions who i am sure have some anger or humiliation or whatever injustice that they have suffered. So does this mean whoever can just kill those that have done wrong to them? To anyone who has sympathy for this guy, would you be feeling the same if a member of your family is one of the unfortunate victims?

And to justify his action by giving examples of his mental state is an insult to all those who have gone through the same problems and have the courage and strength to bounce back in their life. A lot ppl i am sure has been through a hard time in life from being mocked in high school/uni for being a geek, nerd, stupid, or whatever reason. But a large percentage did cope with it and and not just go on a killing spree. To cut a long story short, for me, no sympathy at all for the psycho. And also the US government for not stopping the gun culture there (guns are easily available in shops).

As I said, there are those who hates him and those who pitied him. Yes, true enough that killing is a wrong-do which I will not deny. What I meant in my context is that, he could have probably murdered the bastards instead of go on a killing n shooting spree killing innocent ones. Mental state might be an excuse but I probably he was out of control already, I dont know.. we dont know. he's been there for more than half of his life and yet still so hard to fit in. It was never endless bully and mocking.. which probably made things to end up that way. He was probably angry.. full of anger n fury.. but nobody hears him, or probably, nobody wanted to lend him a ear. Neither his parents nor his peers. I wouldn't say for definite, I said, probably.

And thats why I said, he souldnt have gone on a shooting spree killing innocent college kids and definitely parents and family would feel freaking horrible knowing their child is one of the 32. THat is why I said, a wrong-do.

My thoughts.

Erm,that is exactly the thing that i'm arguing against in my previous comment. What i said: "No matter what suffering he has been going through, it doesnt give him the right to murder, even those who is guilty of mocking him or whatever."So does this mean whoever can just kill those that have done wrong to them?"

Well, nvm lar..i prefer to think of happier things..Long break! woohoo

lol. well... wat i meant is that.. if he had chose to kill, he cud have juz killed those idiots instead of random killing and classifyin all into the same category which is very unfair.
